Thank you Rocky Mountain Power!

A lot has been going on with the Cultural Dance Exchange recently. First, we would like to extend a very warm thank you to Rocky Mountain Power for their generous grant ! Their grant will help provide continued rehearsal facilities, needed rehearsal attire, and performance expenses for the Cultural Dance Exchange as we enter the new year.

Due to the belief and support of RDT, Utah Work Force Services, and Rocky Mountain Power the Cultural Dance Exchange is pleased to announce that they will be performing at the Women in Psychology Conference this March. We are excited to be a part of this annual national conference hosted in SLC this year. The theme of this years Conference is Global concerns, Local and Individual Perspectives Voices of Indigenous, Immigrant, and International Women. We feel their theme closely fits in with what we are doing in our monthly rehearsals at the Cultural Dance Exchange, and are very excited to part of such a fabulous event.

There is, of course, a lot of work to be done before we perform in March. However, we are excited to perform what we have been creating as a group along with the beautiful and traditional dances from Karen State and Rwanda.
